Cornerstones 200 Questions and Answers to Learn Truth

This is an attractive book full of color that is a treasure of Scriptural knowledge in a small, yet easily readable presentation. From a quick thumbing of the pages I found an array of color splashed on every page. As I opened it and began reading through the introduction I found a section called “So how do I use this book?” in which the author presents examples of how a parent might use the book. The purpose of the book seems to be to provide a platform to lead a child in answering some of the great questions that sometimes are difficult to answer. The author divides the book into chapters beginning with “God” and including “Creation”, “Sin”, “Jesus”, “Salvation”, “The Bible”, “Discipleship”, and concluding with “The Church and Last Things”. The author uses a question and answer format to explore each subject, or chapter. In total there are 200 such questions answered with Scripture. The CSB translation is used through-out which is easily readable by any age. This book will make a great addition to family devotions and/or in a one on one discipling of a child. There is also a parent’s guide available with additional Scripture references for each question. I see this book as a starting point in providing a balanced Scriptural foundation that can, and should be built upon through a consistent study of God’s Word.
